Availability of Library Resources And Services to Students in Selected Private Secondary Schools in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Nigeria

Abstract

This study is on the availability of library resources and services to students in six selected private secondary schools in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State. Survey approach was the research design used. Relevant data were collected from one hundred and seventy nine respondents with the aid of questionnaire. The findings reveal among others that all sampled schools have libraries; textbooks are the major resources in the school libraries. Virtually all the respondents made use of the school library. Recommendations were made to improve the resources and services of the school libraries.
